Hoopla Inc., the company that brought Cirque du Soleil franchise to the Philippines, has another exciting offering for us this coming August 9, 2012. SALTIMBANCO, Cirque du Soleil’s longest-running touring show will be staged at the soon-to-open Mall of Asia Arena.

At the press con held at the Manila Hotel, Hoopla Inc’s president Mr. Vincent Cheng made the exciting announcement of its latest project, following a successful run of Varekai.

Canadian Ambassador Hon. Christopher Thornby shared how Cirque du Soleil, unknown to most, was actually borne out of Montreal and has become a cultural institution in Canada and considered one of its “global ambassadors.”

Saltimbanco, with its theme “A Celebration of Life”, promises to be a “thrilling and kaleidoscopic celebration” onstage as it features acrobatics and artistry, with the spectacular costumes, lighting and music that Cirque is known for. This will surely be a fun and memorable show for the whole family.
