I listened with so much happiness and excitement as my friend Gina Abuyuan told me about this new project of hers, a brand new lifestyle magazine specially made for “hip” moms and dads.  Gina’s new baby, published by Sesame Seed Creatives (the same publishing company behind world-class titles Wedding Essentials, Fudge, among others), was surely going to be a good read and resource. It even had a cool and apt title, H.I.P.P. – a magazine on Happy, Intelligent, Progressive Parenting.  

As she spoke, I was already visualizing how I’ll surely enjoy reading it as a mom and as a woman, then, Gina unexpectedly asks if i could be one of H.I.P.P.’s columnists!  I was speechless, and even had to ask her again and see if i heard wrong.  I didn’t!  

Wow, what an honor to be part of such a wonderful concept.  And to be contributing to a publication I truly believe in, and writing about one of my passions, mompreneurship, is really a dream come true.
